This time around my rep came to me with the updated pricing structure (as they had changed all the tiers, and names, etc) and said that our new per annuum cost (for the same 5 rooms) was going to be $11k.(!) Additionally, that individual could give us no assurance that said cost would not change again. Highfive is excellent to communicate with distant peers and provide the opportunity to share views and displays. They'd made some improvements, and added in a dial-in feature for road warriors at a annual pricing tier, and that made sense to us, so we bought in to that at ~4k/annuum. When we first bought in, the service was $800/device (one-time), and eventually we were all in with 5 devices at various locations. Over the course of the 4 years we've had it, we've seen some pretty astronomical price changes.
Here's my major beef with this product though. Simple for people to join, and requires little work by me (which is awesome). There are 1 customers that Highfive, rating them as excellent. If you have a conference room that has a lot of glass, you'll get issues with echo and distortion, but save for that, its a pretty sweet product. Highfive has collected 1 reviews with an average score of 5.00. The hardware is great, and 8 times out of 10 it functions as expected. First off, let me preface this by saying that we've had this product for 4+ years.
